Loaded the car into the shipping container today at Birmingham. Would sailed on the 29th November and reach Port Klang on the 27th December insyaAllah. So no car for a month, however, my housemate has kindly offered that I could use his car sometimes. Cheers mate. Couldn't wait for the loading itself as I have a train to catch at 3pm. So they sent me the pictures instead...
Email received from the loading agent:
- M55 PPY - has got quite a few bit of personal effects - shipped at owners risk, please clear and collect, asap, from port kelang, if any value, as no cover for loss / theft whilst left in the car, at port klang and a free car wash, - for Ismail. N.B: The car was a bit dirty, wanted to go to the car wash first, but the agent said that he could do it. Thanks.
- I will e-mail and post copy bills in due course and also, advise once the ship has sailed, so then you can cancel your uk road, insurance , please keep in place till shipped on board.
