Ops Lalang...

Sampai masanya untuk operasi pembersihan laman belakang rumah yang sudah mula tidak terurus. Operasi selama 2 jam telah dilakukan sempena dengan Easter Break dan keesokan harinya Royal Wedding. 

Mula - mulanya memang tidak berniat langsung untuk membersihkan kawasan itu, tapi selepas ditegur jiran (you know who you are) yang menghidap hayfever (tak tahan dengan debunga), maka demi menjaga hati jiran, mahu tak mahu buat juga. 

Rasulullah S.A.W bersabda “Empat perkara yang membawa kebahagiaan kepada manusia, iaitu mengkahwini perempuan (isteri) yang solehah (Alhamdulillah), rumah yang bagus (luas) (luas jugak la), jiran yang baik (insyaAllah), dan kenderaan yang bagus (setakat ini - Alhamdulillah).” (Hadis Riwayat Ibnu Hibban).

Peak District National Park...Encore...

Today, me and my DIRG Group (Athar, Afizan, Usman, Nasreen and Sara) went to the Peak District for  a group trip. My task is to organize the rented car and to bring drinks, while others have to cook for the picnic.

Lincoln & Skegness Trip...

Today, the L'boro University International Student Association had organized a field trip to Lincoln & Skegness.  Me, Athar, Nasreen, Anoud, Andrew and Gary went there together as a group. They had booked a double decker bus to take almost  100 student on this trip. 

We left L'boro at 9 am and arrive at Lincoln at 10:30 am. We spent almost 1 1/2 hour exploring the Lincoln Cathedral  which at the time it was built, it was the tallest building in the world. Then we went into Lincoln Castle which was just across the road from the Cathedral.  As the bus will depart for Skegness at 12 pm, there are no time to fully explore the castle and join the free guided tour, but we manage to go and take a look at Magna Carta (dating back to 1215) as well as the Charter of the Forest.

Then we depart to Skegness. We arrive there at 1:30 pm. After a fish and chip lunch, we went to the windy beach. As Athar bought a frisbee, we tried to play there, but the wind was too strong. At 4 pm (some students are so exited being at the beach they return to the bus late - which should depart at 3:30 pm), we headed home to L'boro and arrive at 6:30 pm due to road works...

Rasanya Seperti Baru Semalam...

Rasanya seperti baru semalam Babah & Ummi membawa pulang Raisya dari QMC, hari ini dah genap satu tahun menyerikan kehidupan kami. Begitu cepat masa berlalu, begitu juga cepatnya anakanda membesar. Sekarang dah pandai berjalan, makan dengan penuh berselera, bermain riang dengan kakak Puteri dan peneman Ummi ketika Babah masih berjuang... 

Ya Allah, kami bersyukur diatas kurniaanMu dan amanahMu ini. Murahkanlah rezeki kami dan jauhkanlah kami dari bala bencanaMu ya Allah. Moga Raisya menjadi anak yang solehah dan dikurniakan kesihatan...

Kereta Injured Lagi...

Bangun hari ni dengan semangat bekobar - kobar nak cuci kereta. Sambil membawa baldi berisi air sabun pergi ke kereta. Nampak lain macam aje. Rupa - rupanya bonet dah kemik. Ada kesan tapak kasut. Bloody drunken idiots!!! Potong stim sungguh.

Terus ke Balai Polis Loughborough pada pukul 7:30 pagi. Rupa - rupanya balai polis buka pukul 9:30 hari Ahad, 8:30 pagi Isnin - Sabtu. Jadi balik rumah dulu, tengok F1. Kemudian pukul 10:00 pagi, pergi lagi ke balai polis.

Pegawai polis bertugas ambil keterangan dan maklumat tentang kejadian. Kemudian dia kata "Because there are no witness, no suspect and no CCTV footage, there are no further action will be taken by the police. You can have the incident report number and report it to the insurance company." Cehh, buat letih aje pagi - pagi pergi report, tak boleh buat apa. Ni mesti pasal cutback, tak ada peruntukan untuk pegawai penyiasat.

Hilang mood nak buat kerja, tapi mahu tak mahu, kena datang juga ke office. Untuk merawat hati yang duka, masak nasi kuning (macam nasi belacan tuu), gulai ayam dengan acar timun. Pueh hati den...

To those stupid idiots, may Allah give you the blessing and may you regret for the things that you had done...


Update: Went to the workshop, the mechanic said that Merc dealership usually replace the whole  bonnet instead of fixing the dent. As the body panel usually come unpainted, so they need to take the car and paint the hood according to the car's colour shade. One thing for sure, its going to be expensive...
