Cari Nyakit...

Tengah mengemas bilik, cari passport nak buat copy, cari dalam file, tak jumpa. Ah sudoh...

Call Imigresen Malaysia London, dia suruh datang buat permohonan baru, cari kereta sewa, semua kereta auto tak ada. Nasib baik Azrul & Dr. Rozi sanggup meminjamkan kereta mereka untuk membolehkan saya ke London. 

Tengah lekat masa jem, nampak kedai ni...

Bertolak ke London pukul 6:30 am, sampai pukul 9:30 am. Daftar kat receptionist, isi borang tambahan, tunggu untuk ditemuduga.

Sampai pulak, ingatkan masa buat passport Raisya last time datang sini...

Semasa temuduga, pegawai tersebut memeriksa semua dokumen yang patut ada. Tiba - tiba, dia cakap "Surat beranak ada?". Hok aloh, copy ic, copy passport lama, copy visa uk semua dah bagi, surat beranak nak lagi ke? Ingatkan masa sekolah rendah aje cikgu nak tiap - tiap tahun, rupa - rupanya tua - tua beginipun nak juga. Cakap ada kat Malaysia. Diapun tulis nota, surat beranak tiada.

Pegawai tersebut juga cakap dia akan tolong percepatkan process sebab memang tujuan nak bagi student balik, bukannya nak stay kat sini.

Beli nasi lemak kat kafe, bertolak balik pukul 11am, sampai Lboro pukul 1pm. Kena gi pulak next week...

Pagi - pagi nak pergi office, bawak keluar basikal, naik, kayuh sikit, rasa lain macam. Rupa - rupanya tayar belakang dah pancit. Mintak tolong housemate bawak basikal ke kedai repair kat uni. Kena £11 (£6 Labour) suruh dia repair / £5 beli tiub sahaja. Sebab tak ada masa, suruh diaorang repairkan, lagipun bukannya retipun nak buat sendiri. Hantar pagi, dia cakap petang karang pukul 4 baru siap. Macam hantar service tukar minyak hitam kereta pulak...

update: pancit disebabkan oleh duri dan juga dawai kokot. macam mana boleh kena, hmmm...

Pimp My Ride...

This will be my ride for the month. Went to the office today and realized that I'm not that fit. How you took things for granted, last time, the journey only took 5 minutes, arrive at the office warm and dry, ready to work. Now, arrived all sweaty, out of breath, cold, legs aching and took 15 minutes (that's on Sunday, with less traffic). Dulu 160 horsepower, sekarang 1 manpower. Dulu isi minyak Ron 95, sekarang isi nasi minyak sepinggan. Sigh... It's true what the Prophet said: "Take five chances before five things are token back: healthy before sick, young before old, rich before poor, wide before narrow, life before death"...

Loaded the car into the shipping container today at Birmingham. Would sailed on the 29th November and reach Port Klang on the 27th December insyaAllah. So no car for a month, however, my housemate has kindly offered that I could use his car sometimes. Cheers mate. Couldn't wait for the loading itself as I have a train to catch at 3pm. So they sent me the pictures instead...

Email received from the loading agent:

• M55 PPY - has got quite a few bit of personal effects - shipped at owners risk, please clear and collect, asap, from port kelang, if any value, as no cover for loss / theft whilst left in the car, at port klang and a free car wash, - for Ismail. N.B: The car was a bit dirty, wanted to go to the car wash first, but the agent said that he could do it. Thanks.
• I will e-mail and post copy bills in due course and also, advise once the ship has sailed, so then you can cancel your uk road, insurance , please keep in place till shipped on board.

Before that went to Cadbury's World at Bournville, had lunch at Nando's, Starcity...
