Birmingham Wholesale Market...

Went to the Birmingham Wholesale Market with my housemate today. We left L'boro at 3:45 am, just after subuh prayers to get there early. This market is just beside the Bull Ring. Everything was sold by the boxes. including fruits and vegetables. Bought a bag of 2kg Scottish mussles for £9 (usually bought the 1kg New Zealand mussles for £5) and a brown crab for £3. As fish are sold by the box, we decided to share sea bass as well as sea bream. Tempted to buy some razor clams or lobster, but then again, not in the mood to cook them...
