Dear Mrs. Blanchard,
Please accept this letter as my formal notice of resignation from Woodbrook Vale High School effective on 31 March 2010. I have enjoyed my employment here and appreciate all the support given by yourself as well as the school staff.
It was a very difficult decision for me, but as I am in my final year of my research, I need more time to focus on my study.
I hope that this one month notice is sufficient for you to find a replacement for me. If I can help to train my replacement or tie up any loose ends in the next month, please let me know.
Thank you very much for the opportunity to work here. I wish you and the school success in the future.
