Just bought this replacement rear light from eBay for £19.00 + £ 14.99 for delivery as the fitted one was broken since the World Cup by some drunken yobs. Going to give it a go at fixing it on this weekend. Hope all goes well for this amateur mechanic...

Biometric Enrolment...

As part of applying extended UK visa, I have to provide the United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) with my biometric information (fingerprints and photograph). So I went to Derby Biometric Enrolment Centre, 2nd Floor, Stuart House, Green Lane, Derby, DE1 1RS this morning. As my appointment is at 11:10 am, but I arrived there early because of predicted snow fall therefore drove there slowly. Upon arrival at 10:00 am, the receptionist says that I was too early. It didn't matter as I am willing to wait there till my appointment. Then she says, "Ok, Mr. Ismail, due to today is not a very busy day, we'll push your appointment to an earlier slot". By 10:30 am, all is done.

Now have to wait another 3-4 weeks for the visa application to complete...

No Boxing Day Shopping For Me This Year...

Disebabkan tidak pergi shopping sempena Boxing Day, maka operasi membersih rumah dijalankan. Baru sudah habis bersih dapur dengan toilet. Next - ruang tamu dengan bilik.

Hari ni, Atie dengan Raisya akan berangkat pulang ke tanahair. Disebabkan ramai terkandas kerana Heathrow Airport ditutup disebabkan oleh salji tebal, maka ramailah orang beratur untuk check in. Malah didalam tube, telah diberi peringatan bahawa siapa yang tidak mempunyai confirmed flight, tidak akan dibenarkan masuk. Inilah cara BAA (syarikat pengendali airport) mengawal kesesakan.

Flight yang dijadualkan pada pukul 10 pm akhirnya berlepas pada pukul 12 tengah malam. Nasib baik Kerajaan Terengganu telah menempah tiket Business Class, maka Atie dengan Raisya boleh berehat dahulu di Golden Lounge...
