Congrats Dr. Hafiz...

Congratulations to Dr. Hafiz and his batch for their convocation ceremony. It started with a family photo, then a "Right of Passage" ceremony, and finally the University's graduation ceremony.

Rites of Passage: Friday 16 July 2010, 10am

The Rites of Passage is the annual graduation event at Charterhouse Square organised by the Students’ Association to celebrate the graduation of students at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. It complements the conferment of degrees at Queen Mary, University of London. This event is attended by Professor Sir Nicholas Wright (the Warden of the School of Medicine and Dentistry) and his team. Previously there were two separate ceremonies, one for students who began at Barts and another for those from The London.

This is a unique opportunity for medical and dental students who have studied for either three, four, five or six years at Barts and The London, to see each other graduate at this ceremony. The Rites of Passage is a time to celebrate not only the academic successes but also other achievements throughout their time at university.

KUL - LHR...

Today, Papa, Mama, Adik, Faiz & Puteri arrived at LHR for the second time this year. They are all here to celebrate Hafiz's convocation at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary, University of London.

They reached London at 5pm and went straight to Ibis Hotel, Algate East.

Atie had to come later as she still had her class this afternoon...

Atie's International Consultacy Project...

For her MBA, Atie had to investigate a company performance, hence she and her group decided to visit AZRB in Kuala Lumpur. They flew out from Birmingham International Airport today. her flight from BHX - DXB - KUL would take 14 hours (plus transit at DXB for 3 hours). She'll be in Malaysia for 10 days and will come back to the UK on the 10th June insyaAllah.

Have a good flight and enjoy your stay in Malaysia. Don't forget to send my regards to the 2 Puteris and the rest of the family back home...

Download the World Cup Fixtures...

You can now download the World Cup fixtures to your calendar if you use Outlook, Google Calendar or iCal.

Just use the link provided below to add the entire competition match dates, times and UK broadcast details to your calendar - in just three easy steps :
